I have a dark fantasy story, can you tell me what you think?

Sounds interesting, and my, what a character. I'd love to read what he does with his power. But yellow eyes? Isn't that kinda...turn-offish and weird? Unless they're like dark or butterscotch or something, but pale yellow would be strange.
