Whats a worse death Crucifixion or Impalement (Vlad The Impaler Style)?

Believe or not, I think I'd prefer Vlad's spike up the ol' wahzoo. I haven't seen the definitive analysis, but I think you'd die quicker on one of the Son of Dracul's spikes than on the cross. Although Christ, according to the story, only lasted less than twenty four hours, usually it took up to three days or longer to die from crucifixion. I think impaling didn't go beyond twenty four hours.
