Question about Vlad The Impaler and Romania?

I'm doing a project about leaders and their leadership styles and since I love reading about monarchs I wanted to do mine on Vlad Dracula. I've found some good stuff on the web but I recently saw this documentary about the history of vampires and in it they talked a bit about Vlad and the told about how in Romania he is seen as a national hero and I was wondering if there was anymore information about how the Romanian people view him in modern times. I think it'll be good to include in the paper.
