Where in romania is the best place to stay if I want to see the vlad the impalers castle?

Im visiting Hungary and Romania this December. While in Romania I want to see the ruins of the Impalers castle. Where should I stay, what city, town, or village, that is close to the castle, and where I should easily be able to find a guide or tour group?
